Denise Milner

Mother of two beautiful daughters, and wife to Andrew, Denise is the founder, owner and CEO of Surgical Bliss. As a breast cancer survivor and successful recipient of IVF,  she has a passion for helping others find the best treatment and care available. Deeply compassionate and caring, she brings her personal touch to the business of matching the need of every client to the best health care professional and facility in her vast resource base. 

Denise, who has a BA Hons. in Sport Science and Psychology says: “I started this business in 2008 because I did not know how any person could get through any type of medical treatment or illness without being able to access treatment and technology as soon as possible. Helping people to access this - in one of the world’s most beautiful places - is what motivates me to get out of bed in the morning.”

In addition to her personal story, Denise’s 12 years of experience in medical tourism enables to offer a listening ear and valuable advice on where to start or the next step in any client’s medical journey. Together with her team, she makes it really simple for clients to find the specific treatment that they need and offer suitable options. 

Denise says: “Clients must have choices and be well informed. They need to feel understood, valued and cared for throughout this process, and they must not be made to wait.’

Denise has worked in the South African medical industry for over 20 years. As a result,  she has a broad knowledge of medical systems and procedures as well as strong relationships with doctors, health care professionals, hospitals and other facilities. She has travelled extensively and is confident that South Africa has world-class medical professionals and facilities.
